THE PROJECT

Social telepresence

Twingo is a one-to-one conversation app that uses MR devices such as Apple Vision Pro to place another person’s avatar or persona in your real environment. Conversations and interactive games help the pair build a connection, exchange contact details and keep interacting.

01 / SOCIAL MINIGAMES

Three emojis. One shared story.

In Emoji Storytelling, two people take turns choosing three emojis to continue a story. I documented the rules, UX wireframes and interaction flow so each participant knows when to choose, what to contribute and how the story progresses.

  1. 01Choose the minigame together.
  2. 02Take turns across the beginning, middle, climax and conclusion.
  3. 03Select three emojis, then confirm the next part of the story.

02 / SPATIAL EXPERIENCE

Bring the conversation into the room.

Twingo uses spatial computing to bring another person’s avatar or persona into your surroundings. The original storyboard explores putting on the headset, entering the app and positioning a virtual presence within a familiar room.

03 / RELATIONSHIP SYSTEMS

Design for the next conversation.

Beyond a single chat, I conceptualized retention systems built around Relationship Milestones, Interaction Points Acquisition and additional shared activities. The design connects what two people do together with their developing relationship and reasons to return.

  1. 01Shared conversations and activities
  2. 02Interaction points and relationship milestones
  3. 03More opportunities to reconnect
